Madame President you must run again!

As we continue to draw ever closer to the conclusion of the first term of the first female president of Liberia, many Liberians especially in the diaspora are wondering if she is going to run for a second term, in my opinion the very stability of the Liberian nation depends on her decision, she is the only one best qualify, and best positioned to continue leading the battle weary people to progress and prosperity. the president's detractors, including many of the so called senators and representatives on capital hill, have continue to do all in their power to discredit and bring the government to its knees, these greedy,corrupt,blood stained hands killers turn politicians, are like wolf hiding in the dark, just waiting for the right time to pounce, for only in anarchy and chaos, can they survived.

To say its very important the president run again is an understatement, in order to firmly secure the peace for which almost two hundred thousand of our countrymen pay the ultimate sacrifice, in order to continue to enjoy the respect and blessings of the international community, and in order to ensure that the next generations of Liberians never again experience war, she has to run again, it is inevitable, she must run for president, the very destiny of our country future is on the line.

Finally the dictator will answer for his brutallity against the Liberian people

The day of judgment has finally come for former Liberian president Charles Taylor to answer for his heinous and brutal crime against the Liberian people. you can run but you can't hide so says an old parable in Liberia, did Taylor and his band of merry cronies think they would get away with the carter camp and duport road massacre? did they think they will get away with the amputations of arms and legs of thousand of innocent people in Sierra Leone? you were suppose to protect us, yet you chose to kill us, you were suppose to liberate us from the tyrant Samuel Doe, remember above all else the people? but when we compare the two of you, he comes out looking like a saint, you had a chance to be a great leader, when we give you the 97 elections, instead you made us beggars when our country is rich in natural resources, you scar our nation and left a whole generation traumatize forever, its not too late to ask the Liberian people for mercy, and than maybe just maybe we will find it in our hearts to forgive you.

Beautiful Liberia

Liberia has a lot to offer when it comes to tourism, the land is rich and beautiful, the people are friendly, all we need to do is developed and show it off.

Madame president: you must veto the the finacial autonomy act.

Once again greedy politicians most of them from now defunct warring factions that took part in some of the most brutal atrocities in our country, and now are so called senators and representatives on capital hill in Monrovia, have just pass what they call the financial autonomy act into law. This new law will exempt lawmakers income from taxation, why expecting ordinary Liberians and other government employees to pay taxes. Instead of being leaders, these greedy, bloodstained hands politicians have decided to take the suffering people for a joyride, this is the new Liberia, and no matter who you are,everyone has to pay their fair share of taxes. this tax exempt provision is very very bad for Liberia, and Liberian people every where should resist this blatant attempt to exploit them, let us remind Jewel Howard Taylor, Edwin Snowe and rest of those rebel gang on capital hill who have shared their wolf clothing for sheep clothing, that we can see through them, after all let us do unto others as we would want them to do to us, if they don't want to pay taxes, why the hell should we the ordinary people have to pay.

Here we go again

On the morning of may 10 2007 the Liberian community in Minnesota woke up to the shocking news, that one of its member was charged with the brutal murder of his girlfriend.

According to the criminal complaint, Wilson Newongeby Kpahn and his girlfriend were arguing about going out with friends on May 6. Kpahn went out and when he returned around midnight, they began to argue again. At one point, police said the victim told Kpahn she was leaving and would be taking their 5-month-old child with her. The victim did not leave and at some point both Kpahn and the victim went to bed. Kpahn told police he woke up around 5 a.m., got a wooden piece of the bed and hit the victim with it. Kpahn told police he then strangled the victim with his arm. according to news report the accused came to the states from Liberia just about a year ago.

The constant negative news about the Liberian community especially in Minnesota, is well known, at almost any Liberian gathering there are always reports of fights, and drugs.

this is shameful and its a disgrace, this is not our country, we are guest here, and we have to understand that when we are in Rome we have to live like the Romans, so once again the hint to the wise is sufficient, please don't make life difficult for the rest of us. I believe this is something the community leaders have to look at and address urgently, or everyone of us run the risk of having our good name ruin by heartless and selfish thugs, who can't understand that the war is over in Liberia, and that we have to respect and be good guest in other people's house.

Justice has been long overdue!

How could you let this happen

On June fourth of this year the trial of former Liberian dictator Charles Taylor will start in Europe, finally the once so called strong man of West Africa, must defend and answer charges of genocide not only against the Liberian people, but also against the peoples of Sierra Leone.

It is said that a suspect is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, but the barbarity, and savagery with which he and his band of criminals wage their war was beyond comprehension.

stories of his soldiers opening up pregnant women to see if the child is male or female, and the amputation of arms and legs of innocent men, women and children are widely known.

These savages, should and must pay for their actions, The other faction leaders who opposed Taylor are not innocent too, Kromah, Conteh, and George Boley, should all be drag before the courts.

We will never forget what you people did to our beloved country, the trial of the dictator is only a formality, but in our hearts all of them have being found guilty, and they must all pay and pay dearly for what they did.
