In celebration of Black History Month, I’ve decided to post some of my favorite artist of the sixties and seventies, these artist were able to transcend race, and inequality, with their wondeful songs at a time when racial intorlerence and inequality were the norms of the day.
The very first song and one of my personal favorites, is by one of the greatest boyband group of all times. here are the Temptations singing their hit song ain't too proud to beg.
And check out this video of the Temptaions and the Four Tops, two of the greatest groups of the sixties, battled it out on stage.
In the next video, two of the greatest singer of sixties, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell perform their hit song no mountain high enough.
And finally here is Eddie Kendrick a former Temptation singing his hit song Eddie's Love, at the soul train awards.
Man those songs were great back then, i was'nt even born yet, but i still appreciate the beauty of those songs today, enjoy folks.
